2010: Reid speaking at festivals and conferences in the USA
(Festivals shown in light blue, conferences shown in dark blue.)
Reid will leave El Salvador on June 30 and head directly to Mt. Union, Pennsylvania for Creation Fest Northeast. Then from July 21-24, Reid will be in Enumclaw, Washington to speak at Creation Northwest. What a thrill to be part of the nation’s largest Christian music festival, which features a stellar lineup including TobyMac, Switchfoot, Skillet, Newsboys and more! Last summer, Reid spoke at Creation Fest Northwest and was asked by organizer Pastor Harry Thomas to return this year to share the Good News at both Northwest and Northeast. RSA also has been invited to partner with Creation Festival for a mission and festival in Ghana, Africa which is now scheduled for January 2012. Reid is excited and honored to partner with Pastor Harry and appreciates his heart to glorify Christ and draw people to Him through the festivals.
Reid is thrilled to partner with good friends Alan and Vicki Greene for
LifeLight Festival in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Greenes and Reid have connected through Luis Palau’s Next Generation Alliance, and Reid admires how they are reaching people for Christ in their community through the festival. This free festival will feature David Crowder Band, Mercy Me, Lincoln Brewster and many others. What began as a festival on a church lawn has now grown to become become one of the nation’s largest music festivals in the country. 320,000 people came to the 2008 festival over three days. In John 8:12 Jesus said,”I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but have the Light of Life.”
Last fall, Reid had the opportunity to share the Good News at Rock of Ages in Calistoga, California. One of the highlights for him was learning from the decision cards that there were people from his home town of Petaluma who had prayed to receive Christ at the festival! Reid is excited to return this year and watch as the Lord continues to harvest souls in the area where he spent his childhood and youth. This year’s festival features Third Day, Disciple, Comedian Bob Smiley, and many others. RSA’s connection to Rock of Ages came through fellow evangelist Brad Butcher with Passion4People. Reid and Brad have been blessed to share in this harvest together as they have equipped God’s people for evangelism and shared the Good News with thousands the Napa Valley.
Reid Saunders Festivals
In 2007, RSA spearheaded its first major US festival, Salem RiverFest with Reid Saunders, which attracted an estimated 70,000 people to hear the Good News in Oregon’s capital city. Over one hundred local churches, businesses, and organizations joined with RSA in a united prayer and organizational effort to produce one of Salem’s largest events on record – and all for the glory of God!
